The GRSI supports stakeholders, including civil society and governments, interested in growing their community sponsorship programs. Regardless of the stage of development, the GRSI has created a suite of products, tools and resources to help grow programs effectively and sustainably.
In particular, the GRSI offers training materials that can help train local sponsor groups and civil society on community sponsorship. To help build capacity further, the training modules also include a “train the trainer” unit to further support growth. The GRSI Guidebook also offers useful insights, from Canada and around the world, into best practices on sponsor mobilization, monitoring and evaluation, refugee participation, and more.
